Habilitation, vision, and assistive devices is a cross-regional service that offers interdisciplinary and specialized interventions and assistive devices for children, adolescents, and adults with long-term disabilities.

Your workplace

At the adult habilitation center, we work with individuals over 18 years old with intellectual disabilities, autism, significant mobility impairments, and acquired brain injuries with long-term rehabilitation needs. The adult habilitation center provides services to adults, their relatives, and other networks. Based on needs, we collaborate with other services within healthcare, the municipality, and other community actors.

Your tasks

As an occupational therapist, you are an important competence in the team around the patient, and you work with assessment and treatment of adults with disabilities. We collaborate both within and outside the organization, so your ability to cooperate is important.

It is essential that you can work both independently and together with others, as the work performed with us is very varied depending on our patients' needs. Equally important is your interest in development work, as we are in an intensive development phase, both of our own operations and within the field of habilitation. You will work in teams that primarily meet individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.

Your knowledge and competencies

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. Experience and competence within the target groups of habilitation are meritorious, as well as experience in habilitation or related fields.

You always put the patient in focus and are responsible and motivated in your work. As a colleague, you are engaged and positive, contributing to good collaboration and a pleasant work environment. You are independent, flexible, and easily adapt to different situations. As we are keen to find the right person for the position, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability. A driver's license is desirable.
